Gala – Dance Season Opening
Duration: 2h25 with 2 intervals
A highlight moment, the Ballet Parade opens the Dance Season Opening Gala of the Paris National Opera, bringing together on the stage of the Palais Garnier the entire Company, from the young students of the Dance School to the Étoiles, via the Junior Ballet.
This is followed by Juliano Nuñes’ first creation for the Paris Opera and two works entering the repertoire: Vers un pays sage, choreographer Jean-Christophe Maillot’s tribute to his father in a neoclassical style, and Busk by Aszure Barton, evoking street performances in an expressive and virtuosic language.
